Problem summary
To fix a defect, the jit (specifically aliasing information) was made more conservative with regards to immutable fields. This was safe, but potentially slower.
Problem conclusion
This defect will be fixed in: 6.0.0 SR11 . The jit was improved to restore higher performance for immutable fields while retaining correctness requirements.
