  doing byte to char conversion.

Problem summary

• The failing charsets did not throw MalformedInputException while
  detecting the malformed byte streams and hence the
  IgnoreMalformedInput request was not processed.
  

Problem conclusion

• This defect will be fixed in:

  6.0.1 SR4
  7.0.0 SR3
  .
  The JDK has been updated to throw the MalformedInputException
  while detecting malformed byte streams and thereby correctly
  process the IgnoreMalformedInput request.
