IV25295: 750 CAL DATA SHEET INCORRECT STATUS USING SYNONYMS

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• We have created a synonym of BROKEN as  PARTVER  in the
  PLUSCCALSTATUS
  domain.  It is NOT the default for the internal value of BROKEN,
  the
  value BROKEN still is. We had a data sheet set up with 3 asset
  functions:
  *We manually set the As Left Asset Function #10 status to
  PARTVER
  (synonym of BROKEN).
  *We manually set the As Left Asset Function #20 status to BROKEN
  (synonym of BROKEN
  *We entered As Left values for Asset Function #30 that were
  within
  limits, therefore system automatically set Asset Function Status
  #30 to
  PASS correctly.
  The issue that is occurring is the Data Sheet As Left Status was
  incorrectly set to PARTVER.  We would expect that the overall
  Data
  Sheet status would be set to the Default specified in the
  domain, which
  in our case would be BROKEN. Please investigate as to why this
  is not
  occurring. See attached screen prints for more details.

Problem conclusion
