APAR status

Error description

  • Error Message: JVMJ9VM015W Initialization error for library
    jclse7b_26(14): JVMJ9VM009E J9VMDllMain failed
    .
    Stack Trace: N/A
    .
    -verbose:init provides more information about error,
    Running initialization stage JCL_INITIALIZED
    for library jclse7b_26
    error: unable to load zip (The specified procedure could not be
    found.)
    

Local fix

  • Copy dbgwrapper.dll from JAVA_HOME/jre/bin into the java(custom)
    launcher installed location.
    

Problem summary

  • The problem is caused when a custom launcher is in use & the
    launcher is stored in a directory other than JAVA_HOME/jre/bin.
    

Problem conclusion

  • This defect will be fixed in:
    7.0.0 SR3
    6.0.1 SR4
    6.0.0 SR12
    .
    The JVM has been updated to initialize with proper libraries
    when the custom launcher is used.
