IV25243: WEBSPHERE MQ VERSION 7.0.1 AND MQIPT ( SUPPORTPAC MS81 ): MQIPT LOGS AN ERROR 1407-0 EACH TIME A CLIENT CLOSES A CONNECTION.

Error description

• When using WebSphere MQ internet pass-thru ( SupportPac MS81 )
  Version 2.0.0.3, an ERROR 1407-0 is logged each time a client
  closes a connection. This issue can be reproduced as follows
  (all components are on the same system):
  
  amqsputc --> MQIPT (port 1407) --> QMGRName (port 1420)
  
  For example: Use the amqsputc sample program to put a single
  message to a queue on the queue manager. Once the sample
  program is ended (which effectively closes the connection),
  the ERROR 1407-0 is logged by MQIPT (see the MQIPT log).

  PROBLEM SUMMARY:
  MQIPT logs a benign error when a connection is closed, no matter
  what the reason for the connection closure.  The error logged,
  does not prevent MQIPT from operating correctly, but appears as
  a failure in the MQIPT log file.
  

Problem conclusion

• The MQIPT code has been updated to check the reason for the
  connection closure, and report the closure appropriately in the
  log file.
