IV25237: THE CUSTOMER WOULD LIKE REPORTER TO BIND TO LDAP AS ANNONYMOUS

Error description

• The customer would like Reporter to bind to LDAP as annonymous,
  this seems to be more of a RFE but Viador helped us get things
  working the way the customer wanted and that required a "test
  fix" so I'm logging an APAR

Problem summary

  * configured to disallow anonymous binding.                    *

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:                                         *
  * When trying to configure the Reporter 2.2.0.8 to             *
  * authenticate against LDAP, the cluster.conf file was updated *
  * to add the LDAP                                              *
  * entries. The Reporter server starts successfully but fails   *
  * to connect to LDAP because of trying to bind the user ID     *
  * anonymous, which is not allowed for specific corporate       *
  * policies.                                                    *

  * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
  * Will be resolved in FP 10.  When available, please upgrade   *
  * to this maintenance update.                                  *
