Error description
Maximo does not check when a crossover domain is used to enter Reason For Work in Work Order Tracking (Oil). 1. Create a New Work Order (Oil) 2. Fill in all mandatory fields and make sure you enter Work Type before Location, you?ll see that when you enter the Location after Work Type the Matrix Index and Matrix Priority are being filled in. Note: the crossover domain automatically enters RFW5 when Work Type CM is entered. 3. Create another New Work Order (Oil) 4. Enter all fields except Work Type and Reason for Work (which has the condition linked to it). 5. See what happens if you now enter the Work Type CM! The Matrix Index and Matrix Priority are not being filled in, the Java logic doesn?t check it. 6. Not even if you save the Work Order. 7. If you then manually enter RFW5, it still isn?t refreshed by Java, only when you first enter another value: RFW1, RFW2, RFW3, etc and then re-enter RFW5 it will be refreshed by Java. 8. Crossover domain used to fill the Reason For Work field is placed in Table: WORKORDER, Attribute: WORKTYPE, Domain linked DEFRFWWORK 9. In Organizations (Oil) we?ve defined the Default Reason for Work for each Work Type: (Please see screenshots) Additional Observation: I had a conversation with the core engineer about crossover domains and it is clear that they trigger actions on field classes. During the demonstration I made to this engineer the issue happened on pure oil and gas. There is one missing detail on the issue and it is the only way to reproduce the problem. You need to change the information on Asset/Location priority or Reason for Work field more than once. If you create the record from the scratch and fill all the information in the appropriate order, the issue will not happen. When we did the session with the customer, the issue was not noticed because of that. Note from L2: === O&G Dev and Base Maximo Dev have authorized APAR creation against O&G. ===

Problem conclusion
Could not reproduce the problem. The crossover domsin only fills in the Reason For Work field and not the Fuction field. Both fields must be filled in to lookup the Matrix Index and Matrix Priority.
