  received if the unnecessarily static initializer code in an
  Annotation class throws an exception (such as
  java.lang.RuntimeException).
     This issue only applies to Java 601.

Local fix

• This issue can be worked around by preventing the exception from
  the static initializer code in an Annotation class.
  

Problem summary

• The problem is caused when the JVM unnecessarily executes static
  initializer code in an Annotation class.
  

Problem conclusion

• This defect will be fixed in:
  6.0.1 SR4
  .
     The JVM has been updated so that the JVM would not
  unnecessarily execute static initializer code in an Annotation
  class.
