Error description

    .
    Stack Trace:
    .
The problem has two symptoms :
If @XMLElement is overridden in subclass and the overridden

    the subclass gets marshalled twice.
If @XMLElement annotation is removed in subclass then only
the super class elements gets marshalled.

Local fix

Problem summary

  • Currently,JAXB code is unable to check the overridden fields in
subclass while creating the node. So,on marshalling the subclass
only super class elemets are getting marshalled.

Problem conclusion

  • This defect will be fixed in:
    6.0.0 SR11
    6.0.1 SR3
    .
JVM has been modified to check the overridden fields while
