Problem summary

  • On some multicore/multiprocessor Windows systems,
    System.nanoTime() may not increase monotonically, or it may
    exhibit unexpectedly large time jumps. This may be caused by a
    limitation in the Windows function QueryPerformanceCounter().

Problem conclusion

  • This defect will be fixed in:
    7.0.0 SR2
