  Section 13. and 14. are as follows;
  
  13.Edit the tivoli_eif.rules rules file, which was distributed
  with the probe, by uncommenting the lines that contain an
  include statement for the tivoli_eif_virtualization_pt1.rules
  and tivoli_eif_virtualization_pt2.rules files. For example:
  include "tivoli_eif_virtualization_pt1.rules"Also uncomment the
  commented-out include statement that embeds the itm_event.rules
  file.
  Re-read the rules file if the probe is currently running.
  
  14.Remove the default read-only permissions from your copy of
  the tivoli_eif_virtualization_pt1.rules and
  tivoli_eif_virtualization_pt2.rules files. Review the contents
  of this file, and edit or customize it as appropriate. In
  particular, edit the registertarget statements to specify the
  name of the ObjectServer to which you want to forward situation

  So that's saying to modify the issued tivoli_eif.rules and
  include the
  virtualization pt1 and pt2, so far so good.
  
  Then section 15 says to
  
  15. Edit the $NCHOME/omnibus/probes/arch/nco_p_tivoli_eif.props
  file as follows:
  Set the value of the RulesFile property to the path and name of
  the tivoli_eif_virtualization.rules file. Ensure that the
  RulesFile property is specified after the Name property.

  There's also confusion where the itm_event.rules should be in
  relation to either pt1 and pt2 or plain
  tivoli_eif_virtualization.rules.
  
  Then whichever method is decided, must work.

Problem conclusion

• The -Configuring event management of a virtual environment-
  topic has been updated as follows:
  
  1) The minimum required version of IBM Tivoli Monitoring is now
  V6.2.3, which includes the itm_event.rules file.
  
  2) The configuration procedure now describes installation of the
  IBM Tivoli Monitoring event synchronization component.
  
  3) The RulesFile property in the nco_p_tivoli_eif.props file
  should now be set to the location of the tivoli_eif.rules file,
  and not to the location of the tivoli_eif_virtualization.rules
  file as previously stated.
