IV21463: MALICIOUS UCM EVENTS CAUSE EAM EVENT CHANNEL TO FREEZE

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• When event information field is, for some unknown reason, longer
  than 65k characters, the event communication channel between EAM
  and CMS is blocked. No events can be transmited to CMS, despite
  of EAM status showing as 'Connected'. EAM restart is needed to
  restore Event flow, therefore all events sent after EAM freeze
  are lost.
  
  Development team are aware of this issue and a test fix is
  available through support right now. This fix will be a part of
  an upcoming Fix Pack.
