Error description
In IBM Maximo for Government 7.5, some problems were found in applications Assets (Gv), Companies (Gv), Government Contracts (Gv), Locations (Gv) and People (Gv). Problem Description: These applications in IBM Maximo for Government 7.5 are presenting usage problems, detailed below: Assets (Gv): - All entries in detail menus related to items fields are duplicated. - In dialog Create Property Upload Files, the search fields: Contract, External System and File Format, does not work properly for values with apostrophes. Companies (Gv): - Dialog View Contracts does not close with OK button, if current company has any pending validation problems. Government Contracts (Gv): - Dialog View History does not close with OK button, if current contract has any pending validation problems. - The status of a Government Contract cannot be changed. Locations (Gv): - Dialogs View History and View/Modify Parents do not close with OK button, if current location has any pending validation problems. People (Gv): - Dialog View History does not close with OK button, if current person has any pending validation problems.
Local fix
Dialogs can be closed with key [Esc]. Fix the validation errors and you will be able to save the records.
