  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • Error Message: When text mode heap dumps are generated the
second and subsequent dumps may be created with names that do
not match the expected format.
After the first heap dump the names may contain unexpected
trailing characters.

Local fix

  • The content of the dumps is unaffected. The files can be renamed
to correct the problem.

Problem summary

  • The file name was not being generated correctly.

Problem conclusion

  • This defect will be fixed in:
WRT-V3 SR1
.
The JVM has been updated to create files with the correct names
as specified in the dump agent options.
