Problem summary

• The current  code of SocketChannel is not handling socket close
  on RuntimeExceptions like
  UnresolvedAddressException/UnsupportedAddressTypeException  in
  open  method due to which Socket Leak is observed.
  

Problem conclusion

• This defect will be fixed in:
  6.0.0 SR11
  6.0.1 SR3
  .
  JVM has been properly modified to address the reported leak
  scenario
