Error description

  • You are using the CICS IA 3.2.0.1 plug-in in the CICS Explorer
1.1.0.1 and have your Database Retrieval Parameters set to the
default of 10000. You have a transaction which issues over 65K
CICS commands. When using the right-click menu to show the
command flow execution in the Command Flow View tab, the 10000
rows are displayed, but no Retrieve more button is rendered and
you cannot scroll through the remaining rows.

    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: UNABLE TO SCROLL AND RETRIEVE MORE DATA *
    * IN COMMAND FLOW VIEW *
    ****************************************************************
    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
    ****************************************************************
The number of resources retrieved in the Command Flow view is
limited to the value of the 'Number of rows to retrieve'
parameter in the Database Retrieval Parameters. This value can
    be set in Preferences.

Problem conclusion

  • The plugin has been updated to provide the capability to
retrieve more resource results in the Command Flow view. The
number of results fetched when the view is displayed will remain
limited to the number specified in the 'Number of rows to
retrieve' parameter. If the total number of results exceeds this
value, the user will be presented with the option to retrieve
    more results.

Version 3.2.0.3 has been released for CICS Interdependency
Analyzer plug-in for CICS Explorer. This is available via two

This update requires the CICS Explorer to be at least at

may now be higher than 3.2.0.3 as the update updates to the
