Local fix

• A workaround is to disable to use -Xnodfpbd.  There might be an
  impact to BigDecimal performance with this option.
  

Problem summary

• The Java virtual machine (JVM) incorrectly calls a private stub
  routine for java/math/BigDecimal.DFPBCDDigits, used within
  certain DFP related paths of BigDecimal.toString, instead of
  generating the corresponding convert instruction to packed
  decimal.   This problem is exposed only on 31-bit zLinux JVMs,
  or 31-bit zOS JVMs on z10 architecture.
  

Problem conclusion

• This defect will be fixed in:
  6.0.1 SR2
  7.0.0 SR1
  .
  The JVM has been updated to generate the proper convert
  instruction for java/math/BigDecimal.DFPBCDDigits on the
  affected platforms.
