Problem summary

• BigDecimal contains some method that the jit MUST recognize and
  treat specially for correctness.  Recently, the JCL code was
  modified in such a way as to defeat the recognition algorithm
  (which uses names and signatures) thereby causing the jit to
  omit the special treatment for these methods.
  

Problem conclusion

• This defect will be fixed in:
  7.0.0 SR1
