  • Error Message: The call to
    javax.management.MBeanServerConnection.getAttribute(tb,
    \'AllThreadIds\');
    returned <OSB>1, 4, 5, 6, 7, 2, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15,
    18, 21, 0<CSB>
    0 is invalid according to the ThreadMXBean documentation which
    states:
    Thread ID is a positive long value returned by calling the
    Thread.getId() method for a thread. The thread ID is unique
    during its lifetime. When a thread is terminated, this thread ID
    may be reused.

Local fix

Problem summary

  • The JVM contained a small timing window where a Thread would
    become visible to the management API before being fully
    constructed, resulting in the threadID being 0.
    

Problem conclusion

  • This defect will be fixed in:
    7.0.0 SR1
    6.0.1 SR2
    .
    JVM has been updated to not return Threads which have not been
    fully constructed from the management API.
