Error description
Error Message: N/A . Stack Trace: N/A . The "info mod" command in sdk/bin/jdmpview fails to list all expected libraries. This problem may occur when reading dumps that are in ELF format i.e. those produced by Linux platforms. Other symptoms that may be observed are 1. no section info for the executable 2. bad section address info for the executable 3. bad symbol addresses for the executable and some other libraries 4. Invalid section data for some libraries 5. Two occurrences of "lib.so"
Local fix
Problem summary
The information about libraries is contained in two places within the ELF file: debug data in the executable and the core file's program header table. The dump reading code within jdmpview was failing to make use of all the information.
Problem conclusion
This defect will be fixed in: 7.0.0 SR1 6.0.1 SR2 . The dump reading code within jdmpview now uses both sources of information about libraries and as a consequence "info mod" will show all of them. The other five symptoms are also fixed.
