Problem summary

  • Remote monitoring server and its agents are marked offline.

When the KDEB_INTERFACELIST configuration setting is used, it
may not result in the expected behavior when the following two
conditions are true, thus resulting in components showing as
    offline:
    1. The first address in the list is invalid.
    2. The second address is valid.
In this instance, the valid (second) interface is never used or
marked as the preferred interface. The RAS1 log error messages
indicate no attempt to connect on the valid address.
