Error description
Error Message: JVMDUMP012E Error in System dump: NETVIEW.JVM.AXXON1.D110702.T230316.X&DS . Stack Trace: N/A .
Local fix
Ensure that the user id being used by the Java process has privileges to write to the datasets control by other user ids mapped to the same UID. This may not be possible due to security concerns.
Problem summary
When there are multiple user ids on a zOS system that share the same UID, the JVM may choose the wrong user id when constructing a dataset name for a TDUMP. The user id of the Java process attempt to write the TDUMP may not have permission to write to the dataset of incorrectly chosen user id. This results in failing to write the TDUMP to a dataset.
Problem conclusion
This defect will be fixed in: 7.0.0 SR1 6.0.1 SR1 6.0.0 SR10 . The JVM has been updated to construct the name of the TDUMP such that it is written to a dataset that is writable.
Temporary fix
