Stack Trace: N/A . Memory overwrite occurs when the IBM_XE_COE_NAME environment variable is used to set up dumps on named Java exceptions. The overwrite is a single null byte after the end of a dump configuration string, for example: "events=throw,range=1..4,filter=<exceptionname>
Local fix
Use -Xdump options instead of IBM_XE_COE_NAME
Problem summary
Problem is caused when initialising a JVM dump configuration option supplied via the IBM_XE_COE_NAME environment variable
Problem conclusion
This defect will be fixed in: 5.0.0 SR14 6.0.0 SR11 6.0.1 SR3 7.0.0 SR2 . The JVM code has been fixed to prevent the memory overwrite
