Problem summary
JDK reads timezone information from registry keys for Windows 2008 which always provide server time irrespective of timezone redirection set or not
Problem conclusion
This defect will be fixed in: 6.0.0 SR11 6.0.1 SR3 7.0.0 SR3 . JDK has been updated to retrieve timezone information from Windows API instead of registry keys
