Problem summary

  • EBCDIC based platforms can implement the LF character \u000A
value either as 0x15 or 0x25. Currently, there is no provision
to toggle between these LF codes for IBM-284 codepage

Problem conclusion

  • This defect will be fixed in:
    6.0.0 SR11
    6.0.1 SR3
    7.0.0 SR3
    .
At runtime if the property 'ibm.swapLF' is set to true then LF
character \u000A will toggle between 0x15 and 0x25
