The JVMTI agent can stop calling GetCurrentContendedMonitor(), or it can be disabled completely.
Problem summary
The problem is caused when the thread being inspected by the JVMTI agent changes its state.
Problem conclusion
This defect will be fixed in: 7.0.0 SR1 6.0.1 SR2 6.0.0 SR11 5.0.0 SR14 . The JVM has been updated so that the thread is halted while it is being inspected.
