IV14899: LIST OF CONFIGURED POP MACHINES IS NOT DISPLAYED AT THE ADD MACHINE WIZARD IF THE POP BELONGS TO A NONE DEFAUL MACHINE GROUP

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • Customer has a list of PoPs already configured.  While run
    the Add machine wizard and  try to select one of the previous
    configured machines to be used as a POP, the PoP list apperars
    empty. When  click on it, it displays only the PoP machines
    that belongs to the default machine group (TCIM server name). If
    the PoP belongs to a different Machine group, the PoP is not
    listed
    

Local fix

  • 1. Temporary change the Machine group of the PoP and set it to
    the default group and add the new machine. Once the
    configuration finished, set the machine to the original machine
    group.
    
    2. Remove the configured ES that does not have a PoP configured.
    This might happend to some machines  that were imported into the
    TCIM server.
