    row causing a hang in JDK code
    

Local fix

Problem summary

  • The problem is caused due to the presence of narrow timing
    window existed between closing the channel and cancelling it's
    keys.
    

Problem conclusion

  • This defect will be fixed in:
    6.0.0 SR11
    6.0.1 SR1 FP1
    7.0.0 SR1
    .
    JDK has been updated to fix the timing window problem to avoid
    the tight loop in NIO select code.
