Problem summary
The hang problem is caused when closing of COM port number greater than 9 is performed because the existing code does not handle this scenario.
Problem conclusion
This defect will be fixed in: 5.0.0 SR13 . The Javacomm code has been updated to prevent the hang scenario by modifying the code to handle the closure of COM ports greater than 9. . To obtain the fix: Install build 20110925 or later
