Error description
Error Message: On z/OS, function calls to get user name and password made through the JVM have a memory leak. The memory leaks are typically on the order of tens of bytes each. . Stack Trace: N/A . To verify the memory leaks, the LE run-time option HEAPCHK can be used to determine the stacks responsible for the leaked string buffers. The call to j9sysinfo_get_username() will be in the stack traces.

Problem summary
On z/OS, the method j9sysinfo_get_username() allocates temporary memory but never frees it.
Problem conclusion
This defect will be fixed in: 5.0.0 SR13 6.0.0 SR10 6.0.1 SR1 . The JVM has been updated so that the temporary memory introduced by method j9sysinfo_get_username() is freed properly. . To obtain the fix: Install build 20110902 or later
