Problem summary

    replaced with single fffd

  • This defect will be fixed in:
    1.4.2 SR13 FP11
    5.0.0 SR13
    .
    JVM is updated to replace the maximal valid subpart of illegal
    multibyte sequence with single fffd as per the recommended
    option of Unicode Technical Committee in 2008
    .
    To obtain the fix:
    Install build 20110827 or later
