    N/A

Local fix

  • Ignore the message, continue to run jextract.

Problem summary

  • The message issued by the jextract tool indicated that customers
no longer need to run jextract to process system dumps. However,
for analysis of system dumps from Linux and AIX platforms,
copies of executable files and libraries are still required,
along with the system dump. Use of jextract or the SDK
diagnostic collector is still essential, on the machine that
produced the system dump, in order to collect the required
    executable files and libraries.

Problem conclusion

  • This defect will be fixed in:
    6.0.1 SR1
    .
The incorrect message has been removed.
    .
    To obtain the fix:
    Install build 20110521 or later

Temporary fix
