Error description

• Environment:
  
       Intelliwatch installer on unix/linux
  
  Problem Description:
       Intelliwatch Installer deletes sometimes deletes some lines
       from the notes.ini file on unix/linux platform if
  TRANSLOG_Status=1
       or EXTMGR_ADDINS are present in notes.ini
  
  
  Workaround:
  Before install Inetlliwatch check whether notes.ini contains
  RANSLOG_Status=1 or EXTMGR_ADDINS.
  (1)If neither entry is in notes.ini, you do not need to do any
  thing.
  (2)If either entry is in notes.ini, do the following
  (a)backup notes.ini to notes.inibak
  (b)install Intelliwatch
  (c)compare notes.ini and notes.inibak, restore the entries(if
  any)
  intelliwatch deleted.
  

Local fix

Problem summary

• Cwe used SetParamSettingToFile to set
  TRANSLOG_Status. but the function was written to
   deal with the iw*.ini files.  It deletes commments of the ini
  files if used against notes.ini
  

Problem conclusion

Temporary fix

• back notes.ini before installing Inteliiwatch.
  Then Restore the comment line if necessary
