Local fix

Problem summary

  • The problem is observed when more than one thread on the same
    NUMA node tries to allocate a TLH (for object allocation) at the
    same time.  The bug causes them to slow each other down.
    

Problem conclusion

  • This defect will be fixed in:
    6.0.1 GA FP1
    .
    An extraneous contention point between these threads has been
    removed so multi-threaded TLH allocation should cause minimal
    contention.
    .
    To obtain the fix:
    Install build 20110211 or later
