Local fix

Problem summary

    Users of Queue Manager Clusters
    Platforms affected:
    MultiPlatform
    ****************************************************************
    PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
During the normal hour maintenance of the cluster repository
process (amqrrmfa), the existence of internal subscription are
checked for queue and queue manager objects in the local queue
manager view of the cluster configuration. If a queue manager
record is found not to have subscriptions in the appropriate
cluster(s) it is a member of, an FDC with probe RM702021
    (Missing Subscription) should be generated.
However, if the queue manger record had a named cluster which
the local queue manager was not aware of (because it is not a
full repository for the cluster, nor is it a partial repository
either), then the generated FDC was misleading as there should
    not have been any subscriptions.

Problem conclusion

  • The problem is fixed by an additional logic check that
effectively removes the incorrect assumption that if the queue
manager is not a full repository for the cluster, then it must
be a partial repository. Removing this assumption informs the
queue manager that it is possible that there should not be any
    subscriptions to validate.
