Error description
User, with PCOMM FTP Client connecting to z/OS and with SSL Security enabled, encounters error on TLS handshake when the data connection is opened. PCOMM FTP Client fails most of the time when set Data Channel in PCOMM to "Private". The failures do not happen as often when FTP Client Trace in enabled, but still fails occassionally. Looking on FTP Client Trace, TLS connection is still made but when "LIST" command is issued, this failure is encoutered: Trace: sHandShake(3cec) InitializeSecurityContext returned unhandled 80090318 Trace: sShutdown(3cec) entered sd c60 phSchannelCtx a7b0568 phSchannelCrd a7b0558 Trace: sShutdown(3cec) closeNotify send rc 7 Trace: DCHandshake(3cec) Schannel handshake failed This appears to be a timing issue.
