Error description

  • When using an SLM policy with a threshold algorithm of
    "high-low", DataPower has difficulty returning to the initial
    state after the low period is reached.
    

Local fix

  • Restarting the DataPower Gateway returns the processing to the
    low state.
    

Problem summary

  • SLM high-low threshold with error count threshold type
    might cause a scenario where the threshold is reached but never
    reset, which causes all messages monitored by the SLM policy
    to be rejected.
