APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • Normally when one attempts to install a DataPower image with a
lower numbered version than what is presently installed, a
warning message and prompt regarding downgrades will be
presented.

However, the DataPower version following 2018.4.1.x is likely to
be
10.x. As such
the warning message and prompt about downgrading should be
suppressed in this case.

Problem summary


    

  • The next LTS version might not follow the same numbering scheme
as the 2018 LTS so the code should not incorrectly warn about a
downgrade when in fact an upgrade is being done.
