IT29354: Object damage when the queue file reaches 2TB

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• MQ object gets damaged when the queue file reaches 2 TB
  .
  FDC's with Probe Id AQ115020 generated from the MQ function
  aqhResizeSpaceMap() indicate the queue file size reached
  the max queue file size limit set by MQ (2 TB default).
  

Local fix

• Set a MAXDEPTH (and MAXMSGL if necessary) for the queue to
  prevent it from growing to 2TB

  A defect in the MQ code caused the object to become damaged when

Problem conclusion

• The MQ code has been modified to fix the defect in handling a 2
  TB queue file
