APAR status

Error description

  • When a pgp encrypted file with an uppercase extension of .PGP
is sent to the IBM Sterling File Gateway  Producer, the file is
decrypted with an
output filename of file.PGP_decrypted. The '_decrypted' suffix
is appended to the end of the file which is a defect. This
problem occurs when the producer file extension ends in .PGP or
.GPG (upper case format).
When a pgp encrypted file with a lowercase extension of
.pgp is sent to the IBM Sterling File Gateway Producer, the file
is decrypted with
an output filename of file.pgp, which is the expected correct
result.

Circumvention:
Send pgp encrypted file with a lower extension of .pgp or .gpg
to the SFG Producer.
