APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • There is a fix that is associated to an OS image, but the value
of the operatingsystemversion does not match the
operatingsystemversion of the RedHat 2.1.7.0 image. There is a
coding defect that incorrectly filtered out the remaining
fixes. The coding defect has existed in PureApp since version
1.0. However, it's only a problem if the rack has a fix with an
incorrect operationsystemversion.

Local fix

  • The fix is a 1 line code change to
VirtualApplicationFixes.groovy.

Problem summary

  • Deployments through IBM OS Images for RHEL 2.1.5.0 and 2.1.7.0
do not show up.

Problem conclusion

  • This has been fixed in PureApplication Fixpack 2.2.5.3.
