Error description

  • Adding IP address that's not define in the DNS to an IPv6 IP
Group fail with error message "java.lang.NullPointerException:
Cannot invoke method get() on null object"

Local fix

  • define the IP address in the DNS before adding to IPv6 IP Group

Problem summary

  • Adding IP Address not in the DNS to IPV6 group fails with error
message "Cannot Invoke method get() on NULL Object.

Problem conclusion

  • This has been fixed in PureApplication Fixpack 2.2.5.3.
