APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • The runmqras documentation collection tool does not collect some
available information regarding MQXR which may be useful for
problem analysis.

Local fix

  • Collect the information manually on instruction from MQ Support.

Problem summary

USERS AFFECTED:
This affects users of runmqras collecting documentation from
MQTT or AMQP channels for analysis by support.


Platforms affected:

PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
runmqras at v7.5 does not collect mqxr.stdout or mqxr.stderr
from <mq_data_dir>/qmgrs/<qmgr_name>

runmqras at v8 and v9 does not collect channel status for AMQP,
or for MQTT channels on AIX

Problem conclusion

  • runmqras now collects the channel status for AMQP and MQTT
channels, and includes mqxr.stdout and mqxr.stderr in the list
of files collected.

The fix is targeted for delivery in the following PTFs:
