Error description
Compute Node log collection set incomplete in PureApplication / Bluemix Local Systems - In some cases, the compute node collection set may completely fail to gather the vm-support bundle from ESXi hosts and require IBM Support to collect the information manually. In addition, in the rare occurence of a crash of an ESXi hypervisor, the default configuration limits the size of core dump that can be captured to 100 MB. This can cause the core dump to be truncated and prevent root cause analysis of the failure. -
Local fix
Workaround: The vm-support bundle can be collected manually by IBM, but a core dump usable for RCA cannot be recovered if its size exceeds 100 MB.
Problem summary
Compute node went into quisced state, after restarting also it did not start and got removed from the cloud group.
