Error description
Personal Communications v12.0.2 Windows 10 32bit (ver 1703 build 15063) PCOM v12 cannot connect to the host by using SNA connection after new install. When try to connect, PCSCC014 error occurs, The LogViewer shows PCS5100E,PCS1330E,PCS4122E errors. From display session, Communication menu --> Configure --> Link Parameters --> Next --> Next The "LAN Device Connection" does not shows network adapter. Network adapter should be: LANX_04 PCOM does not seem to find the PC's NIC (Network interface card)

Open PCOMM display session with "SNA/IP" selected as the "Interface" 2. From the menu, go to "Communication" --> "Configure" --> "Link Parameters" --> Enter "Net ID" & "CP Name"--> "Next"--> "Next" 3. The "LAN Device Connection" does not show the network adapter Analysis: In Windows-10 Operating System, the SNA network driver registration was not handled properly during installation. The associated registry key gets altered during installation, leading to inaccessibility of necessary information for SNA to get connected. Instead of - "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Services\IBM_LLC2" key, following key is created - "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Services\IBMLLC2È , causing the issue.
Problem conclusion
PCOMM installation code has been modified to address the issue. Fix is scheduled for PCOMM 12.0.4 Refresh Pack.
