Error description

  • When amqmexpc is run against an queue manager of v.5.3.13 and
later, its mqchsvr process will terminate during the channelsync
export step and the queue manager export itself will fail.

Problem summary


    

  • The executable amqmexpc delivered with
IBM MQ v8.0.0.0 for HP NonStop was built against v5.3.1.12.
Changes included in v5.3.1.13 made it incompatible with it,
resulting in it crashing the mqchsvr process.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • An executable built against v5.3.1.14
has been produced and is included in FixPack 14 under
'opt/mqm/bin/mig/amqmexpc'.
