APAR status

Error description

  • An error message "Profile does not exist or not NIST compliant"
is displayed in the partner configuration page when CBC ciphers
are disabled and NIST is set to transition.


Unable to see the profiles in the SSH remote profile drop down
list.

Local fix

  • STRRTC - 545009

Circumvention:
update the identity key even for the ssh profiles which uses
password authentication.

Problem Description:
The Trading Partner profile for consumers as
listeners (listening to SFTP connections for file delivery) are
changed from remote profile name (like, tdc_otcf) to remote
profile ID (like, 8039...node1) and there is an error "Profile
does not exist or not NIST SP800-131a compliant".


Also, when this Trading Partner is edited to make some updates,
the remote
profile cannot be chosen as drop-down menu is empty.

Found In:
SFTP communication and Routing from SFG partner configured as
consumer.
