Error description

  • If an http request is received by an HTTPInput node and this has
an http method of POST then the body of the request message is
propagated down the flow. For non-POST requests, such as DELETE
or GET, then the HTTPInput node copies any query string
received into the body and propagates that down the flow, and
thus does not propagate any body which was received as part of
    the http request.
The HTTPInput node with the embedded listener does not support
the PATCH method and is not listed as supported to an OPTIONS
    response.

    PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
If an http request is received by an HTTPInput node and this has
an http method of POST then the body of the request message is
propagated down the flow. For non POST requests, such as DELETE
or GET, then the HTTPInput node copies any query string
received into the body and propagates that down the flow, and
thus does not propagate any body which was received as part of
    the http request.
The HTTPInput node with the embedded listener does not support
the PATCH method and is not listed as supported to an OPTIONS
    response.

Problem conclusion

  • You can now elect to have the body passed through to the message
flow for GET and DELETE HTTP methods.
The following environment variable needs to be set to false to
    enable this functionality:

       MQSI_HTTP_COPY_QUERY_STRING_TO_BODY=false

HTTPInput nodes listening on the embedded listener now support
PATCH requests, and OPTIONS returns PATCH as an allowed method.
