APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • The project has an application that references a static library
    as well as a shared
    library.
If mqsicreatebar is used to package the application and the
shared library in one bar file
then you get two copies of the static library.
One correctly in the application zip and the other under one
    under the main bar file.
You should only have one in the application zip unless you have
specified use a -l with that static library.

Local fix

  • There are two work arounds:
    1) Package the shared library and the application separately
    2) Package both and then use mqsipackagebar to remove the
    incorrect static library.
