Error description
If the IBM Spectrum Protect client installation is started from a UNC network share, it will fail with message "The wizard was interrupted before IBM Spectrum Protect Client could be completely installed". For example: \\fileserver1\Install\TSMClient\spinstall.exe The setup.log will show messages similar to following: MSI (s) (64:9C) [08:47:16:011]: Invoking remote custom action. Local fix
1) Map network share as local drive Example: net use x: \\fileserver1\Install x:\TSMClient\spinstall.exe 2) Copy the installation package to a local drive.
